It
gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the
website of the Radeče Center for Culture,
Tourism and Recreation (KTRC Radeče).
The
wide-ranging work of the KTRC is reflected in
the links provided above, and we hope that they
will be enough to encourage you to take a trip
to Radeče, a small but richly endowed municipality in the heart of Slovenia.
You can visit us on boat,
where you will be given a warm welcome by our raftsmen and transported to a bygone world of
river transport while being rewarded by splendid
views of the Sava valley towards Zidani Most.
Take time to wind down and tuck into an array of
tasty chestnut dishes in the shade of the mighty
‘Gašper’ chestnut tree, the largest domestic
chestnut tree in the country.
Take time and take a look at Svibno, a wonderful
small village inhabited by descendants of the
famous Lords of Svibno and of Count Ostrovrhar,
the real-life hero of France Prešeren’s poem
‘Turjaška Rozamunda’.
Take time, and take time for yourself. We will
do everything we can to make your stay in Radeče
as memorable as possible.
We look forward to seeing you very soon and, on
behalf of all my colleagues at KTRC Radeče, I
hope you find all the information you need on
this website. If you would like any further
information, please do not hesitate to contact
us.
